Movie Stars Wine Tours Terms and Conditions
Cancellation:
Cancellations prior to 24 hours will receive a full refund, within 24 hours Movie Stars Wine Tours will not issue a refund. Cancellations within 24 may be eligible for a rescheduling.
Liability:
Movie Stars Wine Tours is not responsible for late arrivals caused by traffic delays, accidents, breakdowns, severe weather, incorrect pickup/drop-off information, acts of nature or other circumstances that are beyond their control. Movie Stars Wine Tours is not responsible for lost or stolen items.
Movie Stars
Wine Tours does not guarantee the outcome or result of any trip including the guest's enjoyment, fun or getting to the destination on time. Should Movie Stars Wine Tours for any reason incur any liability, its liability shall not exceed the amount of fare Movie Stars Wine Tours received from guests.
Damage:
Passengers are responsible for any damage to the vehicle caused by their actions, including the cost of repairs.
Smoking:
Smoking, vaping etc is not permitted inside the vehicle, Movie Stars Wine Tours reserves the right to end (with no refund) the tour if there is smoking in any of our luxury SUVs. Smoking or food/eating is not permitted inside our vehicles at any time during service. No possession, sale or consumption of any type of narcotics or illegal drugs is permitted. SMOKING, ILLEGAL USE OF ALCOHOL (if guests are under the age of 21), AND/OR NARCOTICS OR CONTROLLED SUBSTANCES ARE PROHIBITED AND WILL RESULTS IN ADDITIONAL CHARGES AND IMMEDIATE TERMINATION OF SERVICE.
There is only a 5-minute grace period given for pickup at designated pickup locations.
The minimum contract price is fixed once the wine tour is booked. Early dismissal, group downsizing, or shortening of rental hours, will not adjust the price.
Overtime will be permitted, upon vehicle availability, and rounded off to the next hour. Availability of overtime is not guaranteed. Overtime rates are non-negotiable and will be charged to the customer according to the GPS Tracking report for each vehicle. Tour Guides do not have the ability to waive overtime for any reason. Overtime is charged by the hour, not prorated per minute.
Pickups/drop-offs outside of downtown Traverse City will result in extra charges of $5.50 per mile or $200 per hour depending on time and purpose of overtime.
Any Movie Stars Wine Tour guide has the right to terminate the trip, without refund, if he/she feels that the party is not abiding by the company rules or is putting the driver, group or vehicle at risk.
Movie Stars Wine Tours reserves the right to change vehicles at its own discretion if the original vehicle is not available due to service, previous damage, road conditions etc.
For the safety of other passengers, drivers and vehicles, Movie Stars Wine Tours will not go on any dangerous roads such as one-way roads, steep roads, 2 tracks, beaches, dirt roads, cliff areas etc.
Animals:
Animals are only allowed in the vehicle if a particular group rent's out the whole vehicle. We cannot put service animals in close proximity to other guests. Movie Stars Wine Tours reserves the right to cancel groups who do not notify us prior to the start of the tour of the group's intent to bring a service animal. Service animals must be in a secure container, Movie Stars Wine Tours has limited spots in our luxury SUVs, service animals will be charged as 1 member of the group.
Payment:
Any remaining balance is due before the start of the tour.
Tour types:
The Movie Stars Wine Tours offers public join-in tours for small groups, couples, or individuals, and private group tours. Movie Stars Wine Tours may combine groups in our vehicles unless a private tour is booked.
Guests/clients/customers waive any and all claims of liability, loss, injury, damage or theft during any Movie Stars Wine Tour. Customer hereby agrees to hold Movie Stars Wine Tours LLC, its agents and employees harmless from any consequences of such wrongful use by customer or Customer’s guests, including the cost to defend against the same. Except in the case of willful misconduct or gross negligence of company, its agents or employees, the customer hereby waives any and all claims against Movie Stars Wine Tours LLC, its agents or employees for injury, loss, or damage, including consequential damages, to customer’s person or property from whatever cause. In addition, the customer waives any right of subrogation with regard to the same. The company, or its designated representative, is hereby appointed customer’s attorney-in-fact to sign customer’s signature for additional charges to customer’s credit card for damages, overtime, &/or any changes due & not immediately paid by the customer & is expressly empowered & authorized to charge all costs resulting from damages to said credit card.No hanging out of any vehicle at any time-immediate termination of service with no refund. Guests/clients/customers agree to maintain full legal behavior during any time of service. Any violation of Federal/State/Local laws and Movie Stars Wine Tours reserves the right to terminate service with no refund. Client is responsible for any and all damage to any of the Movie Stars Wine Tours vehicles, $500 vomiting, $1000 cigarette burn, $100 gum/glitter.
No open alcoholic beverages will be permitted in vehicles, distances between winery stops are close - you won't need any outside alcohol.
Winery Stops:
Winery stops are arranged based on availability, weather conditions, special events etc. Winery stops on private tours are to be pre-arranged prior to the start of service. Due to the size of our vehicles and traffic conditions, Movie Stars Wine Tours unscheduled stops or any pickups/stops outside of downtown Traverse City are at management's decision. Public Tours are to be picked up from Downtown Traverse City unless otherwise specified. Please contact us for questions regarding pickups or drop-offs at least 72 hours prior to the start of any service. Logistical decisions are for the safety of each passenger as well as our drivers and vehicles.
