Why Our Old Mission Wine Tour is Top Rated – The Route

Our Tours usually visit 4 exceptional Mission Peninsula wineries and an optional distillery, each offering award-winning wines, outstanding views, and unique tasting experiences. While the Traverse City wineries bus tours rush through stops, using a rigid itinerary, Movie Stars can request specific wineries and get a full 50-55 minutes at each location (private tours can make their own schedule) — Don’t get trapped on a bus, Movie Stars have time to savor different types of wine, explore the grounds, and truly connect with Northern Michigan wine country.

Our Amazing Wine Tours include Peninsula Cellars – the Old School House, Chateau Grand Traverse which was the catalyst of Traverse City’s wine making region, The Curse of Oak Island story at Mari Vineyards, Hawthorne Vineyards with dual bay views from the tasting room, Bry’s Estates who is one of the Top 10 most popular wineries in Michigan, The stunning Chateau Chantal overlooking both bays, experience Bowers Harbor Vineyards known as the doggy winery, experience the Hollywood feel at Bonobo Winery and don’t forget the new place on the block – Old Mission Distillers known for their strong pours and unique mixed drinks- but they still have wine too. Each tour stop showcases why Traverse City’s vineyard region has become one of America’s premier wine destinations.

This isn’t just basic transportation to the wineries, this is a WINE EXPERIENCE with real wine recommendations. NO ONE knows the tour and the local wines better than Magic Mike and staff- 8 years of experience on Old Mission Peninsula. We don’t have 20 buses. When you book “Magic Mike,” guests will usually meet him on our tours. NO BUSES- we pick up in luxury SUVs.

ROLL LIKE A MOVIE STAR! Tours are flexible, with pickup and drop-off in downtown Traverse City. Tastings, wines, and food are not included in the price of the tour; however, wine splashes are available.

We’re the Flexible Wine Tour — again, our Guests aren’t trapped on a crowded bus, no rigid schedules. Typically, your tour goes where you want it to. Our Flexibility is one of the reasons we are the Top Rated Traverse City Wine Tour with more reviews and followers than most wineries! If there is a winery on your Wishlist, we want to know about it. Our smaller Private and Public groups go wherever we want; we are the Movie Star Tour! All this depends on the day, special events, weather, availability etc. Saturdays can get a bit crazy, so sometimes we’ll start earlier to beat the buses! After booking, stand by for text updates. Feel free to call, text or email any questions 231-360-1267 moviestarswinetours@gmail.com
